[FireLion] Anti Keyloggers is a software tool for blocking keyloggers, and it works for both known and unknown keyloggers. This means that it doesn't depend on quickly-outdated signature files to protect the PC.
There are three type of keyloggers (kernel-based, hook-based and other known exploits) and this software can protect the user from all of them. The program will also check if any unauthorized application will try to send information of of the PC and will stop it. This means that keyloggers will not be able to send reports via emails, FTP or LAN.
This software can catch keyloggers that use one of these type of exploits: DirectX. GetKeyState, GetAsyncKeyState, GetKeyboardState, GetRawInputData, LowLevel Keyboard Hook, JurnalRecord Hook, GetRawInputData.
While the program is running it will monitor for keyloggers and if any software is suspicious, it will add them the a list of applications that follow rules, and it will deny the access to keys, emails, FTP, UNC or screen. This list can be edited for any software that is added to it.
Another useful tool against keyloggers is the onscreen keyboard. It also has a scanning tool with 2 options: quick scan and full scan. Both these scans were tested with 11 keylogger software installed and running, and the quick scan didn't find any keylogger, while the full scan revealed 2 of them. When the scan is finished, it will offer the possibility to remove them. Most of these keyloggers did their job even though this software was started.
